CMS - Intermediate

The CMS allows you to configure the display of features and pages on the front end of your store.

We recommend reading the Intro to CMS guide before continuing with this section.

In the features section on the left-hand side, select the CMS tab > CMS.

Once in the CMS, you will find the following buttons and modules:


(Note: The modules may be configured differently from the example below based on the features and layout of your store).

Types of Modules

  1. Visit Page - Opens your store in a new tab on your browser.
  2. Admin Page - Allows you to make certain updates via front end store view.
  3. Update All Store Pages - After making changes to modules that affect multiple pages inside the store, i.e. Category Pages, and after saving, it's best practice to use this button to push the updates live on all updated pages.
  4. Update Store CDN / quick search - If your store has CDN or quick search, this will push live any changes that were made in modules related to CDN or quick search.
  5. Update Google Merchant Feeds - If your store is integrated with Google Merchant, this will push the updates to Google Merchant.
  6. Update Page Caches - Allows you to target specific product, feed, or category pages to flush the cache.
  7. All Territories - This is configured by our developer team and is internal use only.
  8. Menu Editor - Controls the navigation menu on the top of your store.
  9. Category Pages - Contains each category page that exists on your store, i.e. All Products. New pages can be added, or existing pages can be removed at any time.
  10. Global Banner - A display banner along the top edge of your store. Used typically for announcements, I.E. free shipping or discount campaigns.
  11. Slideshow - Controls the display of rotating banners in the above-the-fold section of your store's home page. You can add, remove, change the banner order, or timing of the auto rotation.
  12. Bannermodule Home - Optional and not available on all stores. Enables you to change banner sections that exist on the home page.
  13. Bannermodule Wall - Optional and not available on all stores. Enables you to change banner sections that exist on the home page.

Menu Editor

Front End View

The Menu Editor module changes the navigation menu on the storefront.

Back End View

  1. Add Menu Entry - Creates a new navigation menu tab.
  2. Menu Title - The title displayed for the menu tab.
  3. URL - The URL of the menu tab. @BASE_URL/ needs to be added as the pretext to the page URL.
    1. Example: @BASE_URL/subscriptions would equal https://store.demo.com/subscriptions
  4. Menu ID - Internal label which does not display publicly.
  5. Add Sub Menu Entry & Remove - Adds a sub menu tab under the parent tab. The trash can icon will remove the parent entry.
  6. Visibility - Toggle to choose whether the menu tab will display on the front end or not.


The arrows on the left side of the module can be used to re-arrange the order of the front-end displayed navigation menu tabs.

Customize the Menu Per Territory

By default, the Global Config is selected, which will apply the menu changes globally across all territories.

To customize the menu per territory, select from the territory dropdown before making updates to the menu.

Saving Changes

After making the desired updates to the menu items, be sure to apply the changes by clicking the green Save button on the top right.

Slideshow Banner

Front End Store

Back End CMS

When selecting the slideshow module, the banners and multiple options will appear:

  1. Add Slide - Adds a new slide at the bottom of the existing slides.
  2. Save Changes - After updating and reviewing the changes, select Save Changes.
  3. Region Selection - If you would like to apply the changes across all territories of the storefront, select Global Config in the drop down. If you would like to make updates to a specific territory, select it first in the drop down before making any updates.
  4. Page - If multiple templates are offered on your store, this selection will allow you to select a different layout.
  5. Slideshow Speed - Set the amount of seconds to designate the length of intervals between each slide. This option only applies if there are multiple slides in the slideshow module.
  6. Images - This section contains all of the banners as individual modules. Each one can be configured separately with their own image, text, URLs, and settings.


Images in Slideshow

Inside the slideshow image configuration, the following sections display:

  1. Slide images link to:
    1. Product - Allows selection to link to a specific product page.
    2. Other link - Allows you to enter a custom URL to link from the slideshow image.
  2. Do you want to make this slide visible?
    1. If Yes, the image will display in the slideshow.
    2. If No, the image will be invisible.
  3. Slide image - The image that displays in the slideshow. The image can be replaced by a new image at any time.

Below the slide image, additional configuration options display:

  1. Change - Upload or replace the existing image.
  2. Multi-language Images - If text exists in the image in multiple languages, use this option to upload the different versions.
  3. Change Extra Tag Image - Will display a square "tag" image over the slideshow.
  4. Position - Change the position of the extra tag image.
  5. Remove Image - Removes the tag image.
  6. Link - The URL to link from the slideshow image. If multiple links exist for multiple language, select the Multi-language links option to display additional language fields.
  7. Slide Link Title (Optional) - If you would like to add a title to the URL, enter the text in this field. For additional languages, select them from the Add Language option below.

Below the Slide Link Title, the description and button title fields display:

  1. Description (Optional) - The description will show below the title. For additional languages, select them from the Add Language option below.
  2. Button title (Optional) - The title of the button which displays below the description. For additional languages, select them from the Add Language option below.
  3. Delete - Will remove the image and all configurations.
  4. Close - Collapses the image configurations.
